Chris Andriano had a stellar high school athletic career, and then used that success and experience to pave the way for future accomplishments. Chris was a three-sport athlete at Palatine, excelling in football, basketball, and baseball. He was named All-Conference and All-Area in football in 1969 and All-Conference in baseball in 1970. After setting several receiving records at PHS, Chris went on to become an All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-American wide receiver at Millikin University. After Chris’ playing career was over, he continued to leave his legacy with the game of football. For the past 33 years Chris has been the head varsity football coach at Montini High School. He holds an overall record of 244 wins and 117 losses. In that span Coach Andriano has guided his teams to nine conference championships and four state championships. The two-time Chicago Bears Coach of the Week has also been deservedly recognized for his football accomplishments throughout the state of Illinois. He was inducted into the Millikin University Hall of Fame in 1979 and then followed that up with an induction into the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2001.
